This project was a complete overhaul of an existing setup previously built on Salesforce. The client was facing major limitations in terms of performance, usability, and flexibility. Their internal data had become increasingly complex over time, and the existing tools no longer met their needs.
I was brought in to build a brand new SaaS platform from scratch, with the goal of consolidating and optimizing their entire B2B IT prospecting workflow. The project included migrating and restructuring a large database initially exported in CSV format from Salesforce then clean, and reconnect the data before reimporting everything into a fully custom backend.
The goal was to build a smart, fast, and intuitive platform that would allow their team to search and qualify IT leads with high precision. From defining competitors or partners to identifying IT infrastructure used by companies, the new platform empowers users with a full view of every target. Once a company is identified as relevant, users can access detailed contact information and begin prospecting instantly.
The platform was fully developed using WeWeb (frontend) and Xano (backend), with a clean, performant architecture designed for long-term scale. I took care of everything end-to-end: database modeling, logic building, data cleaning, front-end design, and integrations.
The core of the application is a powerful company and contact search engine, capable of filtering thousands of records in real time. Users can define companies as partners or competitors based on their own strategic logic, then browse associated IT technologies and contact decision-makers directly.
Another major component is the internal back office, which actually represents over 70% of the entire application. It gives internal teams full control over the platform’s data: creating, editing, reviewing, and validating information across multiple data layers.
The platform also includes interactive organizational charts, allowing users to understand company hierarchies and navigate through key contacts in a visual, intuitive way. Granular user permissions, advanced tagging systems, scoring logic, and relational database structures were all part of the build.
The result is a powerful and fully custom SaaS platform, tailor-made for IT prospecting. It provides the client’s team with a single tool to handle the full lead generation process: from exploring company IT ecosystems to identifying key contacts and launching outreach campaigns.
Thanks to the refined search experience and dynamic data layers, the team can now analyze company profiles in detail, uncover relevant partners or competitors based on their own definitions, and explore tech stacks—all in one place.
The internal back office offers autonomous control over every element of the platform, reducing reliance on external tools or developers. Everything from data creation to organizational chart editing can be handled in-house.
By replacing Salesforce with a system built around their real needs, the client gained full control, speed, and precision in their operations. The platform is now used daily by both internal and external users, and continues to evolve based on their growing demands.
